To become a Highr coach, all applicants are required to submit a workshop proposal. The workshop proposal has three requirements:

1) Your Resume 2) Your workshop outline 3) Your 90-second introductory video

Please refer to the details below to understand how to fill out a proposal form for your workshop session(s). We will provide feedback on your proposal. If approved, we will assist and advise you with the content and design of your workshop.

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL

  1. Your Resume The resume must clearly state your classroom teaching experience, your educational qualifications along with prior workshop experiences. Get creative! We'd love to know about your achievements, your interests, and/or any publications. You must also be able to provide at least one reference.

  2. Your Workshop Outline We have created a workshop outline template to help you structure your ideas, and this is what it looks like.

You might already know what you’d like to teach, or you could take inspiration from recommendations under Highr’s Big Four of Quality Teaching. Your workshop can align itself to any of these broad areas of classroom teaching competencies.

Outcomes should describe what participants will be able to do by the end of the workshop. Clear, specific learning outcomes not only make it easy to measure participants’ progress, but also keep you on track while designing the session(s).
